USA WATER POLO MEMBERSHIP
All athletes must be current members of USA Water Polo (Gold Athlete Membership; To register or renew with USA WP, please visit www.usawaterpolo.org

Age Verification
USA WP has an age verification requirement for all athletes participating in National Championship Events. For those who have never completed the age verification, this is a one-time-charge of $5.00 paid online through TC logiQ Secure Website. Gold athlete members must complete this process prior to participating in any National Championship Event, in particular the Regional Junior Olympic Qualifier, which is fast approaching. This process can take up to seven (7) days to receive results so we urge all athletes to complete the verification right away, to avoid delays as the qualifiers get closer. We will not be able to verify and submit rosters until all athletes' birth dates have been successfully verified in the USA WP system. We encourage all of our members who have the intention of participating on one of our Club JO teams to complete the verification process as described by USA WP as soon as possible

 

Membership ID Check
Prior to each game, teams and athletes are now required to present verified rosters proving all athletes are current USA WP members, as well as photo IDs to match those listed on the verified rosters.  Uploading a headshot is a simple process, which is detailed in everyone's USA WP account

 

Travel Policy

For all out of town events, we are implementing a travel policy. All travel arrangements are taken care of by the athlete’s family, including getting to and from the pools for competition. We will arrange a block of rooms at a host hotel, securing a good price. Coaches will stay at the host hotel. All Athletes are expected at pool 1 hour before games unless told otherwise by coach. Cost for each event is based on entry fee and coaches travel expenses. All athletes must be supervised by an adult at all times. We ask that everyone communicate each athlete’s travel plans and whom each athlete will be supervised by over the course of the trip.
